This is the origional photo that I am currently recreating. It was shot in black and white. I will be using graphite, charcoal and carbon pencil,
This is jus the rough outline. I used a 2H graphite pencil in this step. I will now begin on the left hand side and work my way to the righ, This will help prevent smugding the paper and keep it clean.
This is the 2nd day of working the photo. I am using caron pencils for the dark areas. The shading is done using a stomp and chamie. My kneaded erasers are used to help bring out the highlited aread created by the natural sunlight in the origional photographg!
As I continue to work on the shading and fine details, you can start to see the photo come to life. i will be done with this drawing in just a few days and I cant wait to see the finished product behind a professionally framed glass. Please let me know what you think!
